Category 1, 2, & 3 content

Category 1

Christians who make purely Church brand content or products, valuable to the Church but poor for evangelism as it's unlikely to reach any secular audience.

Category 2

Christians who make secular content or products, although they reach a secular audience, they rarely share the Gospel and/or display any other Christian themes.

Category 3

Christians who reach a secular audience with their content or products, plus they share the Gospel and/or display Christian themes in a unique & relevant way.

We help creatives become category 3

How we work

Stars Forever is a ministry that helps creators, artists, and entrepreneurs use their platforms for Jesus!

  1. Personally Seek God

  2. Meet Creators, Artists, & Entrepreneurs (Pick a Specific Project Partner)

  3. Help them Find a Unique Daily Process of Seeking God

  4. Biblically Redefine Success Metrics

  5. Participate in Faith Over Fear Practice Together

  6. Identify Category 3 Platform Integration and Together Bring it to Life

  7. Connect Them w/ Other Christian Creatives Using Their Platforms for Jesus

The Process

  1. The Internal Goal: the creator, artist, or entrepreneur now has a deeper daily process of Seeking God after working with us than they did before working with us.

  2. The External Goal: the creator, artist, or entrepreneur now has specifically shared the Gospel and/or Christian themes in a project that reached a secular audience.

  3. BONUS Goal: the creator, artist, or entrepreneur now has access to a community of ambitious believers who do similar things with their platforms.

The Result

Problems Being Solved

1. locked in Niche Mentality

I have met many believing creatives, people who make Christian content and people who make secular content and I hear a variation of the same thing over and over again: “I want to use my platform for Jesus, but I don’t want to be a Bible teacher online” or “I am actually super passionate about X but I must make all my videos about Christianity to have impact”. The sentiment is the same, they feel trapped into a industry they don’t feel called too because they want to “honor God” …or worse — they feel guilty if they don’t. “Stars Forever” addresses this problem by teaching creatives how to Seek God and bring Him into their work, industry, or niche REGARDLESS of what that might be.

2. Lack of Discipleship in Context

“Discipleship”, what does this word even mean? I’ve been a believer for 10+ years and at least the last 4 of those years I’ve been a serious follower of Jesus, and I still don’t get this word! What I know is that as much as I hangout with other believers and participate as a member of my local Church, theirs still something missing: How does all this Jesus stuff fit into my life? And I’m not talking about morning Bible studies or going to more small groups, I need to know how Jesus fits into my work and the secular spaces I exist in which take up the vast majority of my life. At “Stars Forever” we teach that! And specifically we teach that for creators, artists, and entrepreneurs because we are creators, artists, and entrepreneurs. And we don’t teach it at a school or church environment that you may spend 5% of your life in. We teach it as we collaborate on a project in the space that you spend the majority of your life working in so that it makes sense even when our partnership is over.

3. no examples of C3 Content

If God originally made us to “rule” and “have dominion” over all the earth (see below) then it certainly wasn’t His plan for some jobs to be spiritual, honoring Christ, and others to be non-spirtual, just to get the job done. Our whole lives our to honor God, that means a rocket ship engineer can and should be able to honor God as much as a pastor. That also means a food content creator can and should be able to honor God as much as a Christian content creator. We believe one of the terrible tragedies for modern creatives is that they have separated their faith and work, and we believe this is because it is hard for them to find examples of secular creatives who honor God. At “Stars Forever”, we are not only going to help create more God-honoring creatives, but we are going to bring them together so that they are consistently in community and seeing examples of how faith looks in all sorts of different niches and industries.

the Dream Outcome

“Then God said, ‘Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule…”
-Genesis 1:26

Before Jesus ever told us to make disciples of all nations, He told us we were made to “rule”, to “have dominion”.

Because of the fall we have the choice to rule positively (create things that bring life, treat people with love, etc) or negatively (create things that bring death, exploit people, etc).

As we disciple creators, artists, and entrepreneurs. Our goal is
not solely to get them to preach the Gospel in every piece of content they post.

That would be looking past the rest of what Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20: “
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Our goal is too help creators, artists, and entrepreneurs become the type of people who:

  1. Rule: “rearrange the raw material of God’s creation in such a way that it helps the world in general, and people in particular, thrive and flourish.”

  2. Preach: “share the life-giving story of Christ that offers eternal life to all who believe”

  3. Teach: “use their life and words as a living breathing example of the things Jesus taught throughout His word.”

Our dream outcome is that someone could watch a creative partner that we’ve worked with, and they would not only hear the Gospel, but see the teachings of Jesus lived out, as well as see the world and/or humanity affected in a positive way because of the content that was produced.

Imagine This…

You are a struggling college student, I mean you’re not suicidal, but you are depressed, and anxious, and waiting for the weekend when you can throw yourself into the next “great“ escape.

But in the meantime you find yourself subduing your loneliness through social media consumption, it’s not perfect, but hey, it gets the job done.

You notice that your favorite creator just posted a new youtube video on drifting in Japan. You really like this guy, in fact, sometimes you feel closer to this creator (you’ve never met) more than your own family. You really admire his lifestyle and respect his opinions.

So you watch the video. At first, it’s everything you come to expect and love from this creator: an adventure filled video recapping the journey of going drifting in Japan, but then…

it takes a HUGE turn, i mean literally he just hit a crazy drift turn, but beyond that, it takes a spiritual turn, you wonder why you find yourself crying in your dorm room over an unexpected Jesus story appearing in this video? You don’t even believe in Jesus!? and you haven’t been to church in years!

I mean you’ve seen creators pray in videos or share a Bible verse, but this was different, it shared the story of Jesus in a relevant way that moved you. And this creator you respect was so convicted about his belief.

You notice the creators now hosting a video call to talk to those interested in the faith, you don’t know why but you attend. An hour later you find yourself praying to God “if you’re real show me”

…and the rest is history

These are the types of stories
we aim to create!
